Jake Kumerow making an impact at Cincinnati Bengals' training camp

Former UW-Whitewater WR Jake Kumerow is raising eyebrows at Cincinnati Bengals Training Camp this weekend. The undrafted free agent was the Bengal's first free agent signed following this year's NFL Draft. Early reports say the former Warhawk has a good shot to make Cincinnati's 53-man regular season roster according to a story by Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports.

The 6'4, 209-pound receiver was named D3football.com's Division III Offensive Player of the Year in 2014, as he caught 66 receptions for 1,116 yards and 14 touchdowns despite missing four games due to injury. He was also being named first-team All-America and first-team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in helping lead the Warhawks to a second consecutive NCAA III National Championship.

The Division III Offensive Player of the Year will get a chance to do what his Dad, Eric did. To play in the National Football League.
