Matt Blanchard gets his first opportunity to play in Lambeau Field

The Green Bay Packers entertained 67,191 fans for 90 minutes Saturday night. It marked the Packers' 10th Annual Family Night practice before a near sold out Lambeau Field. It was the team's seventh practice of it's 2015 training camp.

 

Among the rookie players getting their first opportunity to perform in front of a near full house at "legendary Lambeau" was former UW-Whitewater quarterback Matt Blanchard. Matt signed with Green Bay back in April after reaching an injury settlement with the Carolina Panthers.

Blanchard operated No 4 on the team's depth chart last night.

Through the first week of training camp, Blanchard and 5th round draft pick Brett Hundley have alternated at No. 3 and No. 4 on the Packers' quarterback depth chart.
