Training Camp looms for UW-Whitewater football team

I was over at Perkins Stadium and the Bob Berezowitz Student Athletic Complex today taking photos to upload onto my Voices Eye On Warhawk Football Website. Several of Kevin Bullis’ coaching staff are spending a couple of day’s out in Buffalo, New York watching Lance Leipold’s University of Buffalo team in training camp. While the Lance Leipold era is over here in Whitewater, the Kevin Bullis era is just getting underway.  

 Players are scheduled to report to training camp on August 21. Over the past month I’ve seen a number of players physically preparing for camp by working out on their own.

 In truth, playing football at the “national elite” level of NCAA Division 3, requires year round work – weight room, spring practice – academics.

 I saw a post on Facebook today.  

 

Four Warhawks - Brandon Tamsett, Zach Franz, Kyle Schiedemeyer, and Nick Patterson have wrapped up a summer of working out at Brad Arnett’s NXLevel Performance Center in Waukesha.

 It is amazing the number of NFL and College players that call Arnett’s facility “home.”
