WIAC football teams begin preparation for 2015 season

                                   

 

All WIAC schools with the exception of UW-Whitewater have opened training camp.  Stout opens its season on Thursday, Sept. 3 vs. perennial MIAC power Bethel in Menomonie.  On Friday, Sept. 4 UW-La Crosse opens its season vs. Luther (IA) at Veterans Stadium.

 Platteville and River Falls open the 2015 schedule on Saturday, Sept. 5.  The Pioneers host Buena Vista (IA) while the Falcons travel to Simpson (IA).

 Three night games on the 5^th will wrap up the week 1 schedule.

 St. Thomas (MN) at UW-Eau Claire

UW-Oshkosh at Robert Morris (IL)

UW-Stevens Point at Albion (MI)

 UW-Whitewater has a bye week on Sept. 5. The Warhawks will open the season on Sept. 12 vs. Belhaven University in Jackson. Mississippi.

 The Warhawks’ home opener will be on Sept. 19 vs. Findlandia, Michigan at Perkins Stadium.

 Warhawk football, both home and away, will be heard live on KOOL 106.5 and also streamed live.  WKCH/WFAW have been the “Radio Home of UW-Whitewater football since 1963.
